USD 475 announced that the Junction City High School boys’ 4x100 relay smashed the school record at the Haysville Varsity Invitational on Friday. The quartet of Chase Perkins, Tylen Smith, Aidenn Segura and Isaiah Byers clocked a blistering time of 41.80 inside Colt Stadium in Haysville.
The previous record of 41.94 was run by former Blue Jays’ Ian Sanchez, DJ Giddens, Javontez Brime and Izayiah Moore at the 2018 Class 6A Track and Field Championships.
