The second round of the Kansas State High School Football playoffs have arrived, and the Junction City Blue Jays will hit the road and travel down to Derby to take on the Panthers on Friday night.
The Blue Jays, the eighth seed in Class 6A West, defeated the Topeka Trojans 47-14 last week in the first round of the playoffs.
For Derby, the Panthers are undefeated on the season and are the number one seed in class 6A West. Derby beat Haysville-Campus 62-7 last week.
Kickoff on Friday night in Derby will be at 6:00 p.m. (The game time was moved up one hour due to expected inclement weather in the area.)
