Individual Sports Awards are presented at Senior Recognition Night

Junction City High School was the site of the Senior Recognition Night on Wednesday. At the Senior Recognition Night, hundreds of scholarships and awards were presented. The total scholarship amount received by Junction City High School seniors was $2.48 million. 

Individual Sports Awards were presented as well. The award explanation and award winners are listed below. 

-- Rob Smith Loyal Blue Jay Award -  (This award is presented to the female and male athletes who during their senior career maintained eligibility and lettered in three sports).

Male Award Winners - Jackson Hollie, Grady Oentrich, and Blake Proietti

-- Bert McKinsey Award - (This award is presented annually to the senior male athlete/letter winner who has contributed the most to the overall athletic program during his high school career).

-- Mike Champ Award - (This award is presented annually to the senior male/female athlete/letter winner with an outstanding grade point average - making a significant contribution to the overall athletic program during their high school years).
