
The Junction City High School boys and girls bowling teams claimed runner-up honors at the Class 6A Regional in Topeka on Wednesday afternoon.
By placing second overall, the Blue Jays advanced to the 2025 State Bowling Championships, which will take place on Friday, March 7 in Wichita.
Individually, senior Jesse Holtcamp paced the Blue Jays, wrapping-up competition fourth overall with a series score of 664. On the girl’s side, senior Victoria Martinez claimed seventh place with a series score of 576.
