The Junction City Blue Jays host the Manhattan High Indians on Friday night at Blue Jay Stadium. It’s the homecoming game for Junction City.
Manhattan is undefeated at 3-0 heading into the matchup, while Junction City is 1-2.
For the Blue Jays, they’ve had back-to-back losses against top teams in class 6A. First to Lawrence, then to Wichita Northwest last week.
As for Manhattan, they beat Lawrence Free State in week two and then beat Hays in week three.
The Manhattan Indians have won the last three meetings in the rivalry. Junction City’s last victory over Manhattan was in the 2020 season.
