Junction City native and former Kansas State Wildcat running back DJ Giddens wrapped up his rookie season on Sunday with the Indianapolis Colts. Giddens carried the ball eight times for 30 yards in a 38–30 loss to the Houston Texans.
For the season, Giddens ran the ball 26 times for 96 yards, averaging 3.69 yards per carry.
Giddens graduated from Junction City High School in the spring of 2021. He played three seasons at Kansas State before foregoing his senior year and was selected with the 151st pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Colts finished the season with a record of 8-9 and missed the playoffs.
