The Junction City Boys Wrestling team competed at the 6A KSHSAA Regional Wrestling Championships at Wichita North High School this past Saturday. The boys brought 12 wrestlers and qualified 6 to move on to the State Championship.
The #8 ranked Blue Jay team finished 8th out of 18 teams. The Boys will travel to the Advent Center in Kansas City to compete for the State Championship on February 27 and 28th.

-- Riley Luckenbill 113 lbs. - finished in 6th place (28-9)
-- Jayden Melton 126 lbs. - finished in 8th place (34-9)
-- Cody Owens 165 lbs. - finished in 3rd place (28-12)
--Christian Simmers 190 lbs. - finished in 4th place (35-7)
-- Chris Coy 215 lbs. - finished in 5th place (27-7)
--Avery Florence 285 lbs. - finished in 3rd place (23-15).
