Junction City High School will be one of the host sites for 6A girls' regional wrestling on Saturday.
"I think this is very exciting, it's awesome to be hosting," said Junction City High School wrestling coach Aryus Jones. "Not only are we hosting regionals for the first time, but we have a good girls team," Jones said.
According to Jones, Junction City will have 10 or 11 girls wrestling for a chance to go to state.
There will be 17 girls' wrestling teams traveling to JCHS on Saturday to compete for a trip to the state wrestling tournament. Wrestling begins at 9:00 a.m.
