The Junction City Blue Jay football team will travel to McPherson for their week three matchup.
The Blue Jays are currently 1-1 on the season, after defeating the Dodge City Red Demons last Friday, 52-35. As for McPherson, the Bullpups are also 1-1. They lost in week one to Great Bend, but defeated Augusta last Friday, 57-10.
Junction City head football coach Randall Zimmerman had high praise for McPherson when previewing the matchup. "We've got our hands full with them," Zimmerman said. "They are a good, good football team. They felt like they let one slip away in week one against Great Bend, but they beat a good Augusta team last week."
