Blue Jays Pick Up 14th Win of the Season, Lady Jays Fall

The Junction City Lady Jays struggled from the floor, only scoring 11 points in a 49 - 11 loss to Washburn Rural in Topeka.  Junction City was once again led in scoring by senior Sara Rexrode with 7 points.  With the loss the lady jays fall to 1 - 15 on the season.

The Blue Jays boys defeated the Washburn Rural Junior Blues 63 - 55 on Tuesday night in Topeka.  It was a back-and-forth first half with Junction City leading by 2 points at halftime.  The Blue Jays exploded to a 19 point 2nd-half lead and eventually picked up their 14th win of the season, now sitting at 14 - 2.  Junction City was led in scoring by Larkin Turner with 18 points, followed up by Jackson Austin with 15 and Lovell Autry with 12 points.  With the win, Junction City has now won more games than the entire last season.  Coming up on Friday night is Homecoming with both teams hosting the Manhattan Indians.
