JCHS Falls to Bishop Carroll

DODGE CITY, Kan. - The Junction City Blue Jays fell to the #8 ranked team in Kansas Class 5A, Bishop Carroll on Saturday, 61-46.

JC lead 10-9 at the midway point of the first quarter, but Carroll would close the period on a 10-0 run and would not relinquish it. 

Junction City was lead by a game-high 23 points from Chris Dixon, who earned a nod in the Dodge City Tournament of Champions All-Tournament Team, along with Terrence Tedder. Tedder added 5 points, with 5 more coming from Michael Boganowski in his first varsity action of the season.

Junction City finished as the runner-up in the T.O.C. after defeating Dodge City 52-48 on Thursday. 

JCHS will host Topeka West on Tuesday with the girls beginning at 6 p.m. and the boys following at 7:45.
