Curt Matthew Parry, 56 died August 24, 2020 in Belleville, KS.&nbsp; He was born on October 27, 1963 in Clay Center, KS the son of Floyd and Dorothy (Ohlde) Parry.&nbsp; Curt was raised in the Morganville community and was a graduate of the CCCHS class of 1982.&nbsp; He married Mary Budke on June 4, 2005 in Clay Center.&nbsp; Curt taught school at Cuba, Linn, Miltonvale and Belleville schools.&nbsp; He was currently the 7th-12th grade science teacher for Pike Valley where he was also a basketball coach.&nbsp; He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Clay Center.&nbsp; He is preceded in death by his father, Floyd Parry.

Donald K. Baker, 73, died Sunday August 23rd&nbsp;at Salina Regional Health Center Salina Kansas.&nbsp; Mr. Baker was born February 21st, 1947 at Wichita KS, the son of Clayton and Thelma Whitney, adopted by Charlotte and Wayland Baker.

Don was raised in Winfield Kansas, after graduating high school he joined the U.S. Navy and served from 1965 to 1969 aboard the USS Pocono. After leaving the service he went to Central Business College in Wichita, KS where he met his wife Linda Kay (Packer) Baker, they were married in 1972.

He worked as a licensed electrician in Clay Center until his retirement in 2015. During his free time, he served as a leader for Cub Scout Pack 55, Boy Scout Troop 54, Explorer Post 56 and was a member of The Order Of the Arrow. During his time in scouting he served as his son’s Den leader, Scout Master, District Commissioner and as a committee member. He also received many district honors including Distinguished Commissioner, the District Award of Merit, Scout Family of the Year and the Vigil Honor through the Order of the Arrow. He was also a member of the Standing Bear Gourd Society and Shawnee County Allied Tribes. He also was a member of the Clay Center Masonic Lodge where he served as Junior Decon and earned the Daniel Carter Beard award.

He is survived by his wife Linda, 3 children and their spouses Jennifier and Jim Myers of Oconto NE, Sean and Rhys Baker and April and Daniel Davis of Clay Center, Kansas, 8 Grandchildren, Abigail, Rebecca, Scouten, Isabelle, Conner, Whitney, Lilly and Evelyn and numerous nieces and nephews.

Roland D. "RD" Decker, 65, of Westmoreland, KS passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the Community Hospital Onaga. He was born March 9, 1955 in Manhattan, KS, the son of William Dale and Erma Jean (Harrison) Decker, and attended Manhattan schools thru the 8th grade. He then moved to Andover, KS, where he attended and graduated from Andover High school. He worked as a truck driver, starting with Blenn Trucking for several years, and then for Decker Trucking of Westmoreland for many years until retirement.

Survivors include two brothers, Jody Decker and Kevin Decker, and two sisters, Nola Hurley and Tina Jozwiak.

Terry “Bubba” Payne, 57 of Abilene passed away August 22, 2020 at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka. He was born August 5, 1963 in Junction, City, the son of Jerry and Lesa (Sheridan) Payne. He graduated from Herington High School in 1981. Bubba was employed by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department, Abilene Police Department, Abilene Fire Department, sold cars at Affordable and drove the school bus for Abilene. He was a member of the Rodeo Committee, Abilene Elks Lodge, and Legion Rider Post 12. Bubba married Kari Bowers in 1998. 

Bubba is survived by his loving Wife Kari of the home. One son, Kelby Payne and a daughter, Kaylenne Breeden. Two grandchildren: Kyler Harwood and Haisley Breeden. One brother; Monty Payne (Patti) and one niece, Holli Payne. He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandmother, Alice Brady.

Edyth Marie Romberger was born October 2, 1925, in Talmage, Kansas, the daughter of Willie Edgar Romberger and Mabel Chloe Stafford. She was the fifth child of six, born to this family. She was raised by godly parents in a godly home. Her father was one of nine children and her mother had four brothers and sisters. When she was ten years old, her family moved to a farm in the Cheever Township of Dickinson County, Kansas where she preferred working in the fields with her father and older brother rather than working in the house with her mother and two sisters. She married Warren Paul Mastin on September 7, 1947 at the Emanuel United Brethren Church in Abilene, Kansas. Three children were born to them in Abilene; Jon William Mastin, Dick Arthur Mastin and Mary Helen Mastin. Her life was filled with hard work, the love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the love of her family and friends. Edyth went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in the Golden Acres Living and Rehabilitation Center in Dallas, Texas where she was a resident for the last year of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two twin brothers that died in infancy, her brother, Joyce Wilbur Romberger; her older sister, Evelyn Grace Romberger Norton and Edyth’s husband Warren Mastin. She is survived by her younger sister, Helen Elaine Romberger Baker of Bellingham, Washington, her three children, Jon &amp; Melissa Mastin of Dallas, Dick &amp; Vickie Mastin of Garland, Texas and Mary Mastin of Austin, Texas, and six grandchildren; Adam Warren Mastin and his wife Christie of Fate, Texas; Mallory Elizabeth Mastin Gruhn and her husband Trey of Whitesboro, Texas, Andrew Craig Mastin of Dallas, Catherine Marie Hoffer of Austin, Texas, Morgan Michael Mastin of Denison, Texas and Carissa Caitlin Mastin of Allen, Texas and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family Matriarch and beloved mother, Katherine Alberta Langton gave her final farewell at age 92, passing peacefully in her sleep Sunday morning, August 23, at her home. Katherine dedicated her life to being a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, always encouraging the pursuit of education and serving others. She will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Katherine was the widow of Allan L Langton. She is survived by her five children, Marcy Wood, of Manhattan; Gregg (Robbie) Langton of Manhattan; Christina (Joseph) Kaiser, of Collinsville, IL; Scott (Jan) Langton, of Pleasant Prairie, WI; Terry (Michelle) Langton of Shawnee; one sister, Janet Dorman, of Concordia. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren. Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one sister, Joanna Proffitt, of Sterling; two brothers, Bill N Lowell, of Concordia; Darrell D. Lowell, of Savannah, GA Katherine was born in Talmo, KS, in Republic County, on April 20, 1928, to Thora Alberta (Grinstaff) and Loyd Norman Lowell. She grew up on her father’s farm near Talmo and advanced quickly through the country school she attended before graduating from Concordia High School at the age of 16. She worked for 2 years to earn tuition to Kansas State Agricultural College (K-State). While at college Katherine was a member of Chi Omega sorority. It was in the campus bookstore there in Aggieville that she met standout K-State basketball player Al Langton. They were married June 6, 1948 in Concordia, KS. Katherine was known for her hospitality, always welcoming family and guests to gather for a pot of chili on K-State game days. Neighborhood and school friends were always outdoors on the Langton basketball court on the back driveway and remember Mrs. Langton fondly. If she wasn’t home, one could find Katherine at one of her three sons’ basketball, football or baseball games. She was an excellent seamstress and made most of the girls’ clothes including hip huggers, bell bottoms, prom dresses and her oldest daughter’s wedding dress. She volunteered at Memorial Hospital’s Gift Shop making many baby layettes to sell. Katherine was an avid reader and golf enthusiast. She also loved traveling and visited destinations such as Alaska, Hawaii, Europe and Great Britain. Besides running a very busy household, Katherine worked alongside Al, owner of Al Langton Insurance, Inc in the front office for years and helped manage their rentals and Aggieville liquor store. Al’s favorite pet names for Katherine were Kathy, Kack and Kat. She is lovingly remembered by her grandkids as Grandma Gogo – she was always on the go! Katherine and Al were lifelong season ticket holders to Kansas State football and basketball games and loved everything K-State. They were members of First United Methodist Church, Manhattan, KS. A graveside memorial service will be held for the family at Sunrise Cemetery in Manhattan. Katherine Alberta Langton

Lifetime Manhattan resident Joe Grantham passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2020, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Joe was born January 12, 1937 to Neil and Ruth Grantham of Manhattan. He was a standout multi-sport athlete at Luckey High School and excelled on the baseball diamond for the Manhattan Legion team. Following graduation, he would go on to finish his college career at Kansas State and Creighton University (Omaha, NE) before returning to Manhattan to enter the insurance business, where he excelled as a 39-year member of the Million Dollar Round Table. In the 1990s, he expanded into financial planning, where he owned and operated Joe Grantham Financial Planning, helping his clients with investment strategies and group health plans. Outside of business, Grantham was once considered one of the best golfers in Manhattan. As a longtime member of the Manhattan Country Club, he recorded six career hole-in ones and shot under par on numerous occasions. He would jokingly brag to his three children that he put them through college with his winnings. He was an avid K-State fan, athletic donor, and longtime season ticket holder. In the late 90s, he approached K-State about the concept of a golf course on land he was developing near St. George. After reviewing the acreage, K-State determined the land was not large enough for a championship course, but the concept that became Colbert Hills was born. Lifetime Manhattan resident Joe Grantham passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2020, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Joe was born January 12, 1937 to Neil and Ruth Grantham of Manhattan. He was a standout multi-sport athlete at Luckey High School and excelled on the baseball diamond for the Manhattan Legion team. Following graduation, he would go on to finish his college career at Kansas State and Creighton University (Omaha, NE) before returning to Manhattan to enter the insurance business, where he excelled as a 39-year member of the Million Dollar Round Table. In the 1990s, he expanded into financial planning, where he owned and operated Joe Grantham Financial Planning, helping his clients with investment strategies and group health plans. Outside of business, Grantham was once considered one of the best golfers in Manhattan. As a longtime member of the Manhattan Country Club, he recorded six career hole-in ones and shot under par on numerous occasions. He would jokingly brag to his three children that he put them through college with his winnings. He was an avid K-State fan, athletic donor, and longtime season ticket holder. In the late 90s, he approached K-State about the concept of a golf course on land he was developing near St. George. After reviewing the acreage, K-State determined the land was not large enough for a championship course, but the concept that became Colbert Hills was born. Tuesday, August 11, 2020 in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born August 6, 
1970 in WaKeeney, KS to Larry “Rich” and Gloria (Hagan) Fischer.&nbsp;

He is survived by his mother Gloria 
Adkins, Junction City; a sister Michelle Callahan; nieces Krista and 
Jennifer Kingery, Jennifer and Rachael Callahan, nephew Robert Kingery, 
Jr.; uncles-Henry, Donald, John, Dean, Dahna Jr., Rodger, and Gary 
Fischer, Greg, and Corky Hagan; aunts-Beulah (Fischer) McElroy, 
Bernadine (Fischer) Linden, Elizabeth (Fischer) Weber, Connie (Hagan) 
Hinds, great nieces, great nephews and many cousins.

Wayne was fortunate for many years to 
live and be cared for by his aunt Connie Hinds and cousin Doug 
Wilkerson.&nbsp;Wayne worked as a housekeeping aide for nursing homes earlier
 in life. He enjoyed racing his remote-controlled cars, riding his bike,
 going for walks, to the movies with his mother and was always ready to 
go fishing. He loved animals, country music and spending time with his 
family and friends, especially if it involved food. Wayne was always 
willing to help with household chores and loved being responsible for 
making the morning coffee.&nbsp;

He was preceded in death by his Father,
 Larry Fischer, who died in an auto accident April 22, 1989; his sisters
 Cynthia Kingery and Melissa Trent; grandparents Dahna and Mathilda 
Fischer and Virgil and Velma Hagan; uncle David Fischer and aunt 
Margaret Fischer.

Memorial services will be held 
Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 1:00 at St. John Lutheran Church, 394 St. 
John-St. Andrew Rd. in Ellis, with Pastor Kim Frederking officiating.

Scott A. McKenna, 45, was born November 10, 1973, in Junction City, Kansas to Art and Beverly McKenna. He died October 30, 2019 of a sudden heart attack. A graveside inurnment service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2020, at Highland Cemetery, Junction City, KS with Pastor Karol Brecheisen officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the American Heart Association. Scott attended Junction City High School, and was an All-State in Football and Wrestling. He graduated from high school in 1992. He attended Pittsburg State University, in Kansas, and received a degree in automotive Technology. At college, he was a proud member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. After graduation, Scott Worked for the Lexus Motor Division, during that time, he became a ski instructor for Angel Fire in New Mexico. When he moved back to Kansas, he worked for Wynn's Service Contract Division. In 2010, he became the manager of Mr. G's Liquor Store and McKenna's Wine and Spirits. He is survived by his father Art McKenna; brother, Todd McKenna; life partner, Grace Blaine; many fraternity brothers, friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his mother Beverly. His Uncle Stephen "Steve" McKenna passed away on March 2, 2020.&nbsp;&nbsp;

A private funeral Mass for Bernice Ann Boller Erichsen will be held at St. Xavier’s Catholic Church with Father Gnanasekar officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Erichsen passed away Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020 at the age of 90. She was born Dec. 9, 1929 to Frank E. and Mary Ann Arkell Boller in Junction City. Her entire life was spent in the Geary County community; a community she served in numerous ways. She attended grade school in Eastern Geary County at the Enterprise School. Her high school years were spent at St. Xavier’s where she graduated in 1948. Following graduation she worked for an insurance company as a stenographer-secretary and then later at Fort Riley in the fiscal office and the Post Chaplain’s Office. On June 23, 1949 she married Clarence R. Erichsen at St. Xavier’s Church. This past June marked their 71st anniversary. Her husband survives at the home. Together Bernice and Clarence built their lives around their children, their parents, school and church activities. Bernice was a member of the St. Xavier’s Church Alter Society; Circle 4; the Parish Choir and served as secretary for the Parish Council for 7 years. She was also heavily involved with the St. Xavier Alumni Association, oftentimes cooking the entire meal for the annual reunion banquet herself. She was a volunteer at Valley View Senior Life for 10 years and worked on the Geary County Election Board for 10 years. She was involved in Girl Scouts of America; Boy Scouts of America and the Rolling Meadows Ladies’ Golf Association. She loved gardening, both vegetables and flowers and spent many summers in a hot kitchen canning the goods from the family’s garden. Bernice was always willing to help others. She often told her children it was easier to give than to receive. She is survived by her husband of the home; her children, Steve Erichsen and fiancé Debbie Jones; Eileen and Dale Small; Rock and Liz Erichsen; Dennis Erichsen, Jeanette and Marte DeMars; all of Geary County; grandchildren Stephanie Edmonson, Kelly Kramer, Christian Erichsen, Crystal Erichsen, Chrissa Erichsen, Hailey Browning; nine great-grandchildren; her sister Wilma Lathrop; her sister-in-law Peggy Boller; brother-in-law Bob Wilson and dozens of nieces and nephews. Darlene Joy (McElroy) Smith was born on January 18, 1928, in Jewell, KS, to Elvin and Ruby (Vignery) McElroy. Darlene departed this life on August 2, 2020, at Meadowlark Hills – Scenic House, Manhattan, KS, at the age of 92. Darlene grew up in Mankato, KS. As a teen she worked at the Ute Movie Theatre, actively participated in all high school activities, and later was a switchboard operator at the Southwestern Bell Telephone office. She graduated from Mankato High School in 1946. Darlene married the love of her life, Walter Dean “Ole” Smith, in October 1946, in the Mankato Harmony Methodist Church. Their first home was in Salina, KS, until Walt graduated from Kansas Wesleyan. Darlene and Walt then moved to Montrose, KS, where she was Walt’s #1 supporter as he accepted the job of principal and coach for the Montrose Public Schools. Together, they began their new phase in life of raising their three children; Ron, Rick, and Cam. The Smith family moved to Manhattan, KS, in 1957, starting Walt’s career in the K-State Union, with Darlene beside him every step of the way. Darlene and Walt were active members of the Blue Valley Memorial United Methodist Church and they served many community organizations. In 1972, they accepted an opportunity to work and serve KSU A.I.D. at Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria. An experience they would talk about often with family and friends. Darlene and Walt were also known for their “Open Heart-Open House” legacy of having nieces, great nieces, and grandchildren, live with them while attending K-State, creating wonderful memories for all who benefited from their generosity. In 1966, Darlene began her career outside the home. She provided bookkeeping and billing services for medical offices, retiring in 1991. Darlene stayed very active and enjoyed her retirement years. She loved to travel to see family and friends. She also enjoyed playing bridge, bowling, golfing, and she was a wonderful seamstress. In addition, Darlene was the “finder and keeper” of family genealogy. Darlene continued to maintain their home, including all yardwork, after Walt suddenly passed away in 1996. In June 2018, she moved into Meadowlark Hills Assisted Living. Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Walt Smith; youngest sister, Joyce Bradrick; mother Ruby Vignery McElroy Billing; step-father, Millard Billing; and father, Elvin McElroy. She was born May 25, 1937, in Galveston, Indiana, the daughter of Arthur and Beulah (Langston) Pullen. Treva graduated from Galveston High School and attended Purdue University for two years. On August 18, 1957, in Center Church near Young America, Indiana, she was married to Robert Hess Hines. Treva was a member of the First United Methodist Church and taught Sunday school for many years. She enjoyed arts and crafts and made many wreaths and dolls from corn shucks. Peggy was born on November 8, 1938, in Kingsport, Tennessee, to Horace and Bonnie (Bragg) Dolen Sr. She was a 1957 graduate of Sullivan High School in Sullivan County. As a young lady she worked at Mason-Dixon as a file clerk for one year. She later moved to Junction City, Kansas, where she met a young soldier stationed at Fort Riley from Grand Island, Nebraska, by the name of Jerry M. Blevins. They married December 4, 1958 at the First Christian Church in Junction City. She attended and graduated Crum's Beauty School and had worked at a beauty salon in Junction City for several years before dedicating her life to her family at home. In November of 1968, the marriage was blessed with a son, Jerry Michael. Peggy was a life long member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and was the Secretary of the Senior Center Site Council for several years. She loved to oil paint and would proudly displayed many of her paintings for all to enjoy at the Senior Center. Peggy had done some ancestral investigation. Along that journey, she discovered that she is descended from Scottish royalty. She was always proud to let people know that her 20th great-grandfather was the First King of Scotland, Robert the Bruce. Peggy is survived by her loving family: her son, Jerry Michael (Jessi) Blevins of Manhattan, KS; three grandchildren Ellian, Tuesday, and Anders Weisbeck; one great-grandchild Zinnia Weisbeck; her two sisters Patsy Davis of Kingsport, TN, and Phyllis Harrison of Fairmount ,IN; and a host of loving family and friends. Tony graduated from Kansas State University in 1965 with his degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked for The Boeing Company on NASA projects and then for Northern Natural Gas Company that later became Enron Corporation as a code compliance engineer for the Gas Pipeline Group. He loved to bow hunt deer and volunteered for the Corp of Engineers and State Department of Wildlife and Parks annual youth and disabled deer hunt. On February 23, 1985, at Omaha, Nebraska, he was married to Joleen J. DeCamp. Mrs. Rock survives of the home in Manhattan. Additional survivors include his two sons: Anthony “Tony” Rock, Jr. and his wife Meg of Overland Park, KS, and Thomas Rock of Seattle, WA; one sister Linda Gramly of Huntsville, AL; and one granddaughter Gabby Rock. Helen W. (Penny) Socolofsky, age 96, passed away at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan on August 16, 2020. Numerous children and grandchildren were at her side during her almost three weeks in hospice. Penny was born on March 14, 1924 in Republic County, KS to Alfred L. Wright and the former Esther Charles. She married Homer E. Socolofsky on November 23, 1946. He predeceased her in 2005. She is survived by their six children, Robert (Jean) of Denver, CO, Jennifer Sims (Bill), of Lawrence, Thomas (Annamarie) of Mission, TX, Edward of Roeland Park, Theodore (Claudia) of Loveland, CO, Elizabeth Socolofsky-Howe of Warrensburg, MO, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Penny lived in Manhattan since 1937, and graduated from Manhattan High School in 1941. She attended Kansas State University and Christ Hospital School of Nursing in Topeka, graduating in 1946, and worked for many years as a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital (now merged to form Via Christi Hospital) in Manhattan. In 1981, she retired from her nursing career as director of nurses at St. Mary's. Her family donated memorabilia of Penny's nursing career to the Riley County Historical Museum in Manhattan, where they can be seen in an exhibit honoring health care workers. She was a member of the IW Chapter of PEO in Manhattan, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Manhattan since 1937. Despite a shy and self-effacing personality, Penny had a profound strength and an intense interest in the world. Beginning in 1944, she kept a journal. The first entry is a poem by Walt Whitman named Memories: “How sweet the silent backward tracings! The wanderings as in dreams--the meditation of old times resumed--their loves, joys, persons, voyages.” Memories of Penny will comfort her family – the sweaters she knitted for her grandchildren, the chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon rolls she made for her family, her gentle attention to Homer, to her children and to her grandchildren, the beautiful bearded iris she planted everywhere she lived, her joy when describing with close observation the trips she and Homer took, and the books she avidly read throughout her life. Memories of her life will continue to be an inspiration to her children and grandchildren, and they are so much better for having been blessed by her presence. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Penny was cremated, and her ashes will be interred at Sunset Cemetery in Manhattan, next to Homer. Contributions may be made to the KSU Foundation for the Helen W. Socolofsky Scholarship Fund for pre-nursing students, which the family plans to establish. Leona's life began on October 12, 1924 in Lost Springs.  She was the daughter of Henry and Pauline (Deines) Albright.  Leona was a 1942 graduate of Herington High School.  She worked as a switchboard operator as a young lady and later went to work in the IGA Grocery for many years.  Leona was a dedicated and hard-working mother for her children Jeanne and Jim.  Leona was a parishioner at Holy Family Parish- St. Marks in Marion and had been active in the St. Mark's Quilters.

  Her loving family includes her children Jeanne (Lyle) Gillett of Marion, and James (Nanette) Manhart of Weaverville, NC; grandchildren Kirk Gillett of Springdale, AR, Kyle (Andi) Gillett of Winfield and Kristy (Jeremy) Mohn of Olathe; great grandchildren Avery and Rylan Mohn; and siblings Gallard ( Regina) Albright of Wichita, Glenn (Waleah) Albright of Wichita, Edith Warneke of Marion, and Mary Lee Peckenschneider of Wichita.  Leona passed away on August 18, 2020 in Hillsboro.  She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Harold Albright, Edward Albright, and Edgar Albright.

Imogene Merriott, 94, of Wamego, KS passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the Valley Vista Good Samaritan Society in Wamego.

On November 19, 1925, Imogene, was born to Linney and Jessie (Parkman) Hastey in Rochester, TX.&nbsp; She graduated in high school in Bula, TX in 1944.&nbsp; Imogene spent most of her working life as a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, painting, donating her time at church, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was united in marriage with Lawrence Evins.&nbsp; He preceded her in death in 1969.&nbsp; She was then united in marriage to Earnest Merriott.&nbsp; He preceded her in death in 1999.

Imogene is survived by her three children, Glen Evins (Linda), Wamego, KS, Billie Mowrer (Steve), Mansfield, TX, and Jerry Evins (Theresa), Emporia, KS; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her three siblings, Doyle Hastey (Jean), Dorris Vick (J.D.), and Kenneth Hastey (Glenda).

Graveside services for Imogene will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2020 in Wamego City Cemetery. The family has suggested memorials to the Valley Vista Good Samaritan Society, and may be left at Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego, PO Box 48, 66547.&nbsp;

Michael Herrmann, 48, of Omaha, NE and formerly of Wamego, passed away Monday, August17, 2020 in Wamego.

He was born December 30, 1971 to Larry Lee and Thelda Ireta (Bassett) Hermann. As a child, he moved to Nebraska, where he attended and graduated from Ralston, Nebraska schools. Michael worked his entire career in restaurant management.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents and a brother Tod Herrmann.

He is survived by his only surviving brother, Kevin Herrmann, of Meridian, Idaho.

Private graveside services are planned. Burial will take place in the family plot in Wamego City Cemetery. Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego is in charge of arrangements.
