Sandra Lee (Sandy) Cunningham, 78, of Manhattan, KS, passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 23rd, at Ascension Via Christi Health Hospital in Manhattan.

Sandy was born in Roanoke, Virginia on September 2, 1943, the daughter of the late Hazel (Rigby) and Arthur Douglas Jackson. She was united in marriage to Jack Reid Cunningham III on June 1, 1963, in Roanoke. She attended and graduated from the William Flemming, High School in Roanoke, and also attended Virginia Western Community College. For a few years after their marriage, she worked as a secretary for a psychiatrist's office. After the birth of her son, she became a homemaker until she died. Sandy is survived by her husband, Jack Cunningham III, of the home; a son, Jack (Jay) Reid &amp; Karen Cunningham, IV, of Manhattan; two sisters, Barbara Carroll, of Raleigh, North Carolina; Brenda Campbell, of Roanoke, Virginia. a brother, Arthur Douglas (Doug) &amp; Karen Jackson, Jr, of Atlanta, Georgia; her grandchildren: Sierra Noble, Jack R. Cunningham V, and Matthew (Matt) S. Cunningham. Sandy is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Cristina Dawn Cunningham "A Celebration of Life" will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30th at Carlson's Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home &amp; Cremation in Manhattan, with Jonathan Hupp- Pastor of the Bluemont Church, officiating. James (Jim) C. Shortt, Jr. of Manhattan, Kansas died Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan. He had lived in Manhattan since 1974. Jim started teaching psychology at Larned High School in Larned, Kansas. He was the Director of Guidance and Counseling at USD 368 in Paola, Kansas for 10 years. He was a Counselor at Manhattan High School for 4 years. In 1978 he took the position of Counselor and Recruitment Coordinator at Manhattan Area Technical College. He retired in 1995 but continued to work part-time for the Technical College until 2009. Honors that he received during his education career included: selection to “Who’s Who in the Midwest”, Vocational Leadership Award, National Distinguished Service Award, International Man of the Year, Who’s Who in America, Kansas Career Counselor of the Year, Who’s Who Among Human Services Professionals, Who’s Who in American Education and “Distinguished Service Award” for the Kansas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers. James was among the first in Kansas to be certified by the State of Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board as a professional counselor. He was also certified as a “National Certified Counselor” and was a life member of the National Education Association. He held membership and offices in the Kansas Counseling Association and the Kansas Career Counselors Associations, as well as American Counseling Association. He married Marilyn Tibbetts. She survives at their home. He is also survived by his sons, Steven of Manhattan, and Russell and his partner, Aimee DeSett of Leawood, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Bonita Shortt, and a brother, Harry R. Shortt. Mr. Shortt enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting, fishing and farming. He also enjoyed collecting antiques and going to garage sales. Services for Mr. Shortt will be private.

Richard (Rich) Thomas Freeman, 74, passed away on August 22, 2022 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House, Manhattan, Kansas. Rich was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on July 30, 1948, the son of Commander John Keith Freeman and Betty Jean (Foster) Freeman. As the son of a naval officer, his early years were spent in numerous locations in the United States and abroad, including Pensacola and Jacksonville, FL; San Diego, CA; Newport, RI; Yokosuka, Japan; Tehran, Iran; and Alexandria, VA. Between kindergarten and graduation from high school at Fort Hunt High School, Alexandria, VA, Rich had attended thirteen schools. Rich attended college at Ottawa University, Ottawa, KS, and Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS. While at K-State he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1971. During his senior year at K-State, he met Nancy Jane Anderson, a member of the neighboring sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, and they married at Central Congregational Church in Topeka, KS on August 21, 1971. Following graduate study in political science and grain science, Rich and Nancy moved to Orange Park, FL, where Rich began a long career in marine transportation and fuel oil supply for electric utilities in the northeastern U.S. He was employed as a boarding agent for Eller and Company, then as an oil trader in the U.S. for New England Petroleum and North American Petroleum, and then Kildair Service, Ltd., Montreal, Canada. During their 46 years in Florida, Rich and Nancy raised a son, Patrick Keith, and daughter, Anne Kristin. As a strong supporter of Nancy’s career, they moved to Amelia Island, FL in 2003 when her job required that move, and later relocated to Gainesville, FL. They returned to Manhattan in October 2020 to be closer to their granddaughter who was then a K-State Wildcat. Rich’s life interests centered on family, Boy Scouts, playing the banjo, bluegrass music, amateur ham radio, and World War II history. He reconnected with his TKE fraternity brothers in recent years, where he enjoyed reliving old stories of his college years. Rich is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Patrick (Regina) Freeman, High Springs, FL, and Anne Freeman, Manhattan, KS; and grandchildren, Hailey Pitts, Keith Freeman, Jacob Freeman, and Blair Labombarbe; his sister, Patricia L. Freeman, Orange Park, FL; brother, John K. (Ann) Freeman, Jacksonville, FL; and numerous nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by his parents. Rich requested cremation. A Memorial Service to celebrate Rich’s life will be held Saturday, August 27 at 10:00 a.m. at First Christian Church, 3001 Grand Mere Parkway, Manhattan, KS, with a short reception to follow. Bobby Ernest Woodring - July 18, 1931 - August 18, 2022

Marcine Fern Hohman, age 82 of Green, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022 at the Leonardville Nursing Home.

She was born January 6, 1940 on a farmstead near Oak Hill, the daughter of Gaylord and Josephine (Palmateer) Stienbruck.

On August 7, 1960, she married Don Ray Hohman.&nbsp; He survives of the home.

Marcine worked at the Green United State Post Office and helped on the farm.&nbsp; She attended the Green United Methodist Church and enjoyed raising chickens, cooking, crocheting and knitting.

In addition to her husband Don, she is survived by two sons, Chris Hohman and wife Martye of Glasco and Gaylen Hohman of Green, and one brother, Fred Stienbruck of Longford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ted Stienbruck and one sister, Gaylene Frigon.

Cremation is planned with inurnment in the Rose Meron Cemetery at a later date.

Dickie Lee Ryff was born at home on February 26, 1938 to Louis D. Ryff and Doris C. (Shane)Ryff. He was an ornery cuss and learned a hard lesson after a bull he enjoyed taunting decided it had had enough. That old bull caught Dickie with one of his horns and nearly tore his nose off (likely the reason he never could breathe well thru his nose). Later Dickie learned to drive and enjoyed a good game of cat and mouse with local law enforcement. One such game ensued when a memorable date with a pretty young lady, Florence Murrison, from Chapman included a fast exit out of town by way of Indian Hill on Old 40. That old deputy thought he could catch Dickie when he brought his date home so he just waited, knowing he had to return the same way he left. Dickie outsmarted him by switching his car for his dad’s and drove right past him to return Florence safely home. Dickie eventually settled down and married Florence Murrison on September 25, 1964. He always worked hard, spending many years at Vacu-Blast and Abrasive Blast as well as a few jobs in between. In his spare time, he worked on cars, did auto body and painting as well as enjoyed racing with his son Brian at local tracks on the weekend.

 Dickie Lee Ryff is survived by his wife Florence of the home, sons Ty (Cathy) Ryff, Brian Ryff and Rodney Ryff, daughters Vicky (Bud) Elliott and Glenda (Glen) Renz, sister Shirley Ryff, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family. He was predeceased by son Randall Ryff and his parents.

Gregory W. Jacobson, 70 of Hope passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022. He was born November 19, 1951 in Hillsboro, Kansas the son of Donald and Ophelia (Rhode) Jacobson. Greg grew up in the Hope area, graduating from Hope High School in 1970. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business at Emporia State University. Greg grew his passion for farming from his dad, farming alongside Don until he preceded him in death in 2013.

Greg is survived by his mother, Ophelia Jacobson. Sister, Wanda Lewis and husband John. Niece and nephews: Paul Lewis, Sarah (Lewis) Winterscheidt and husband Hank and Luke Lewis. Aunt: Edna Backhus. First cousins: Rodney Mueller; Jody Heath and husband Ron; Brad Backhus and Bev Reid. Second cousins: Jennifer Jay and husband Mike; Jason Backhus and wife Alisha; Mike Mueller and wife Sheila; Danielle Heath and Tyler Heath. He was preceded in death by his dad, Donald Jacobson, two uncles, Lloyd “Butch” Mueller and Paul Backhus and one aunt, Phyllis Mueller.

Michael Jay Leasure, 84, of Manhattan, passed away Sunday, August 14, he was with the maintenance department at Kansas State University from 1966 to 1996 as a painter. On February 27, 2022, Diane Gayle Weixelman, 87, of Red Feather Lakes, left this world peacefully to join her husband Don and son Tony. Her family was honored to spend her final days with her sharing memories and warm embraces. Diane was born to Charles and Donna Brainard on March 29 th , 1934 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At the age of 3, she moved to Abilene, Kansas. She went to Kansas State University and achieved a degree in Journalism. While there she met Donald Weixelman on a blind date.

Diane loved Don and his large family with 11 siblings, they were married a year later. Colorado had been Diane’s summer home during her childhood, so she and Don moved to Colorado in 1959 to begin a&nbsp;career in real estate. Diane’s passion was her family, she raised 7 children, the house was always full of&nbsp;neighborhood kids, nieces, nephews and occasional foreign students. Diane was a partner in Don’s&nbsp; business and played key roles in the Development of many mountain communities including CrystalLakes, Glacier View Meadows; Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch became her favorite where she spent&nbsp;most of her later years greeting visitors and families while working alongside her daughter Linda and son Gary.

Diane was preceded in death by her son Tony (age 13), her parents and her husband Don. Survivors nclude her children Joseph Weixelman (Chris Tee, Shawn, Christopher, James, Kai), Janice Weixelman (Alan King, Tansy Wawerski, Tye Wawerski), Mike Weixelman, Chris Weixelman (Azar Weixelman,Nasim, Yassy, Nika and Nafeis), Gary Weixelman, Linda Weixelman; in-laws include Jim and Jill Weixelman and Bernadine Weixelman, numerous and loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, their families and countless friends.

A memorial was held at on the day of her birthday, March 29, 2022 at St. Joseph Church in Fort Collins.

Private inurnment was held in St. Joseph Cemetery in Flush, Kansas.

Randy Lee Tinkel, 37, of Wamego, Kansas, passed away, August 10, 2022, as the result of an automobile accident east of Wamego. &nbsp;

Randy was born January 24, 1985, in Great Bend, Kansas, the son of Darrell and Carma (Juergensen) Tinkel.&nbsp;&nbsp;Randy was a graduate of Great Bend High School where he was a standout athlete and he attended Barton County Community College as well as Manhattan Technical College. Randy loved to play sports all the way into his adult years. Within the past 5 years, Randy took up golf and was the captain of the WCC K-Cup team. His passion for golf trickled down to Korbin, and most of their time together was spent on the course. As an avid outdoorsman, Randy also enjoyed hunting and participating in coyote hunting contests.

Randy was the owner and operator of RT Trucking in Wamego and had become very well known in the area for his driveway and decorative rock business. Randy had a true passion for his business and was proud of all he had accomplished.

Randy married Jillian Crystal Schroeder on September 24, 2011, in Manhattan.&nbsp; She survives at their home.

Randy is survived by his son, Krew, also of the home; and his father, Darrell Tinkel, Great Bend. Father-in-law, Jeff Schroeder and partner Becky May, Brother-in-law, Jared Schroeder, Manhattan, Brother-in-law Josh Schroeder and wife Becky, Manhattan and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.&nbsp; Randy was preceded in death by his mother Carma as well as his Mother-in-law Rhonda.

Korbin Ray Tinkel, 7 years old, of Wamego, Kansas, passed away August 13, 2022, at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Korbin became a hero that day, donating his organs to 5 other individuals. Korbin’s caring heart allowed others to live on through him.

Korbin was born April 19, 2015, in Manhattan, Kansas, the son of Randy and Jillian (Schroeder) Tinkel. He was a second grader at Central Elementary School in Wamego and now a forever Super Raider.

Korbin was very active and loved playing golf. He won several junior golf tournaments for his age group this past summer and loved spending time at the golf course with his Dad. Korbin also enjoyed spending time around his Dad’s big trucks and any other type of equipment that might be around, eager to learn as much as he possibly could. In addition to golf, Korbin loved swimming, playing soccer and baseball, and especially wrestling with his little brother Krew. Korbin loved going to church with his Daddy and was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church with his family.

Korbin is survived by his mother, Jillian and brother, Krew, Wamego; his grandfather, Darrell Tinkel, Great Bend; grandfather, Jeff Schroeder and partner Becky May, Manhattan; Uncle Jared and Uncle Josh Schroeder (Becky), Manhattan; as well as many other cousins, extended family, and friends.

Laura Mae Wyant, 86, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Salina Presbyterian Manor in Salina, KS. Visitation will be Friday, August 19th, from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 20th at First Baptist Church, Junction City, KS. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 31, Junction City, KS 66441. Laura Mae Newton was born on November 7, 1935 to Warren C. and Laura M. (Jones) Newton in Emporia, KS. She was the youngest of ten children. She grew up on farms outside of Reading, KS. She attended school in Reading, KS except for her 3rd grade year, as it was during WW2 when her dad and several siblings worked in the shipyards in California. After graduating from high school, she attended Ottawa University and earned her teaching certificate. At age 19, she began her teaching career at Washington Elementary School in Junction City. Like many teachers, she continued her education in the summers and completed her education with a Master’s Degree in Education. She met her future husband, Donnie L. Wyant, while singing in the First Baptist Church choir. He was serving in the US Army while stationed at Ft. Riley. They married on February 5, 1961, on a snowy day in Reading, KS. They had two children, Debra and Donald. As a military family, they have lived in Kansas, Puerto Rico, Texas, Virginia, and Germany. Laura taught at several schools around the world but retired from Washington Elementary School (the same school where her career began) after teaching for 34 years. Laura loved music; as a child she played violin and taught herself to play the piano. She loved singing in church choirs, in Ladies Trios, with her husband and children, and as a member of the JC Troubadours. Laura served in many roles at the First Baptist Church and volunteered at Geary Community Hospital. She looked forward to (and planned) many of the Newton family reunions. She loved a challenging game of ping-pong oftentimes beating people half her age. She was an accomplished game and card player. She loved all sports and enjoyed cheering on her grandsons and the KSU Wildcats! While her hobbies were many, most of all, she loved her family, her church, and her friends! Her greatest desire for her family and friends was that they would each know Jesus as their Lord and Savior! She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Donald Wyant; and her siblings Edwin Newton, Ruth (Newton) Guptill, Lloyd Newton, Rachel (Newton) Smith, Kenneth Newton, Betty (Newton) Noll, Lee Newton, and William Newton. He was also a talented auto mechanic as well as a gifted gardener. He started Mobile Car Care around 1994 helping the residents of Junction City with their vehicle needs. Jesse is survived by his loving daughter, Maria L. Powell of Junction City, KS; his brother, Willie McNair Jr. of Salina, KS; his first wife, Ines Powell; three grandchildren, Michael Miles Jr., Brianna M. Miles, and Jamia A. Barnes. SFC (RET) Cherry served in the United States Army having retired in 1987. After his retirement, he worked at Fort Riley as a dining facility supervisor. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. He was known for having a beautiful yard and flowers. He married Ollie E. Petty May 17, 1963 in Gallatin, TN. SSG (RET) Robert Neal Wilson, 90, of Manhattan, KS passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Stoney Brook Retirement Center. Robert was born January 21, 1932 in Abilene, KS to Neal Wilson and Alice R. Smith. Robert served in the United States Army as an Executive Chef until the end of his tenure in February of 1971. After his career in the Army he went on to work at Irwin Army Community Hospital located in Fort Riley, KS for fifteen years. Robert will truly be missed by many.

A graveside service will take place Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with full military honors. Marcine Fern Hohman, age 82 of Green, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022 at the Leonardville Nursing Home.She was born January 6, 1940 on a farmstead near Oak Hill, the daughter of Gaylord and Josephine (Palmateer) Stienbruck.On August 7, 1960, she married Don Ray Hohman.&nbsp; He survives of the home.Marcine worked at the Green United State Post Office and helped on the farm.&nbsp; She attended the Green United Methodist Church and enjoyed raising chickens, cooking, crocheting and knitting.In addition to her husband Don, she is survived by two sons, Chris Hohman and wife Martye of Glasco and Gaylen Hohman of Green, and one brother, Fred Stienbruck of Longford.She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ted Stienbruck and one sister, Gaylene Frigon.Cremation is planned with inurnment in the Rose Meron Cemetery at a later date.Memorial contributions may be made to the Marcine Hohman Memorial Fund and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.

Rex Leroy Goff of Keats, Kansas passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022 and is now resting in peace.&nbsp;&nbsp;

He was born October 3, 1953 to Dean and Wanda Goff.&nbsp; Rex was proud to be a part of a large family and enjoyed living life on the farm.&nbsp; He was a member of the Keats United Methodist Church.

Rex is remembered as one of the bravest.&nbsp; Experiencing health issues as a young adult he faced the challenge of kidney failure with courage and determination.&nbsp; Through years of dialysis, outliving a kidney transplant and continued dialysis his daily obstacles were many, but he faced them with strength and dignity, never showing frustration or discouragement. 

Rex was especially close to his God children, Jandee and Cody and took delight in everything about them. His joy came from supporting many nieces and nephews in their sports and activities.&nbsp; He believed in community and attended many local gatherings. Rex was an employee of Kansas State University.&nbsp; His first appointment was in the Division of Continuing Education in 1988.&nbsp; In 1991 he began working in the Office of the Vice President for Research, Pre-Award Services.&nbsp; Recently, Rex was working as a Senior Grants and Contracts Administrator under the supervision of Paul Lowe and Lisa Duer, where a special friendship developed through mutual respect and dedication.&nbsp; His exemplary conduct and strong work ethic were often performed over and above the boundaries of his responsibilities.

Rex is survived by his God children, Jandee Rae (Bradley) Pyle of Clay Center and Cody Alan Goff of Manhattan, his mother, Wanda (Hollowell) Goff of Manhattan,&nbsp;brothers and sisters:&nbsp; Don (Marcia) Goff of Keats, Larry (Kathy) Goff of Manchester, Garry (Chris) Goff of Manhattan, Janet (Jeff) Newell of Manhattan, Nancy (Brad) Carter of Shawnee, Wayne (Jane) Goff of Manhattan, Jane Keister of Manhattan and Clyde (Arlene) Goff of Manhattan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dean, in 2015 and his brother, Ben, in 2005.

Many nieces and nephews, as well as aunts, cousins and friends will miss Rex and his wit, humor, friendliness and laughter but will celebrate his life for these same reasons.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the Keats United Methodist Church with Pastors Sandy Ferguson and Kevin Larson officiating.&nbsp; The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.&nbsp; Burial will be in the Riley Cemetery.

Gage Mikel McGuire, 18, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 in Abilene, Kansas. He was born September 22, 2003 to Zachariah McGuire and Duana (Thomas)Tatro in Salina, Kansas. Gage has lived in Superior, Nebraska; Concordia, Hugoton, Liberal and Abilene, Kansas. While he was growing up, he enjoyed fishing, wrestling, basketball and football. He was also involved with Boy Scouts. Gage had a passion for computer technology and a desire to become a computer engineer. He upgraded computers to make them better and even built them from scratch. Gage attended Abilene High School and participated in debate, drama and choir. He was a proud graduate of Abilene High School on May 22, 2022. He was a hard worker with an enduring sense of responsibility and, he loved his dog, Bailey, very much.

Gage was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: John David and Mary McGuire, Phyllis and Ronald Collette, Frank Junior Thomas, James Walter Carpenter and step-grandfather Steve Chartier.

Jacqueline Kay Copeland, 73 of Solomon passed away August 16, 2022. She was born September 11, 1948 in Salina, Kansas the daughter of Jack and Eula (Wiebke) Taylor. She graduated from Salina High School and went on to cosmetology school. After graduating she went on in life with a strong work ethic &amp; continued this for as long as she was able to, in everything that she did.

 Jacqueline is survived by her daughter, Jodi Smith, one granddaughter, Emily Smith-Degroot, two sisters, Sharon Thelander and Jolene Decker, one niece, Jessica Palmer, two nephews, Dean and Raymond Holzhuter and a special bond and very close friendship with her cousin and caregiver, Marshia Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Gary Taylor, Mick Taylor and Ruth Holzhuter. Jacqueline’s wishes were to be cremated.

She married Jack Hottman on April 14, 1943 and they had two boys Frankie Dean Hottman and Jimmy Eugene Hottman both of Abilene and a daughter Jackie Sue (Hottman) Foster of Enterprise, Kansas. Esther really enjoyed staying at home and raising her children and taking care of the household. Esther had 16 grandchildren and was preceded in death by her folks and her husband Jack Hottman.

 Esther was a lifetime member of the Emmanuel Church and she enjoyed reading and studying the bible. She loved her Lord with all her heart and lead a very Christian life. Esther had a quote that said, “count your blessings, I love you and a peck and hug around the neck. Cremation is planned.

With her children in attendance, Faith Russell Roach, 96, of Meadowlark Hills, Manhattan, Kansas died of natural causes on Friday, August 12, 2022. Faith was born in rural Neosho County on June 6, 1926 to Viva and Ray Russell. Her older brother, Raymond, was away at school during her childhood, so she spent much of her time in the company of the farm’s chickens, cows and produce. Her stories of collecting eggs, bringing the cows home at night, turning many rows of water melons and taking produce to market reveled her early desire for city life. Faith was 16 when her father died - she and her mother moved to Chanute and Faith attended Neosho Community College. She then moved to Manhattan to complete her BS in Dietetics at KSU (1947). She completed her dietetics internship at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio (1948). While she attended KSU, she lived at a rooming house in the home of Georgia and Gavin Roach where she met their son, Tom, after the war. She and Tom married on August 20, 1949 in Chanute, Kansas and moved to Hays where their daughter, Rebecca, was born. She worked as a dietitian at Hadley Memorial Hospital. In 1954 they moved to Newton, Kansas where Richard was born and Faith worked at a Methodist Youthville. In 1959 they came to Manhattan where Faith and Tom remained throughout their lives. Faith began graduate work at KSU and received her MS (1966) and PhD (1973) degrees. She taught, did research and directed the undergraduate dietetics program in the Restaurant, Hotel, Institution Management and Dietetics Department (now Food, Nutrition, Dietetics and Health) in the College of Human Ecology (now Health and Human Sciences). She made many deep and lasting friendships with the undergraduate and graduate students she advised, with the faculty and staff at KSU and with dietetics professionals throughout the world. Faith was active in the American Dietetic Association (now the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics) at the local, state and national levels. She received various nominations, recognitions, and awards during her career, including the KDA Dietician of the Year (1989). She was also involved with Omicron Nu. Her P.E.O. sisters were very dear to her. Upon retirement, Faith traveled extensively, volunteered locally and dined out frequently with many friends. She very much enjoyed retirement. Faith is survived by her children, Rebecca (Gerry Walter) and Richard (Allison), and her granddaughter, Katherine. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Tom, and her sister and brother. A Celebration of Life will be held in the next few months. Faith loved everything Kansas. Please find her spirit in the sunflowers in the fields, the wheat in your bread and the hills on the Konza. &nbsp;Margaret Helen Jensen, age 78, of Manhattan, died August 18, 2022, at Meadowlark Hills Sloan House. She was born July 17, 1944, in Dallas, Texas, and had been a Manhattan area resident since 1976. On August 5, 1962, in Alma, Oklahoma, she was married to Carroll L. Jensen. Margaret worked for K-Mart in the kitchen before going to work at Kansas State University as a purchasing agent for facilities. She enjoyed going to yard sales and taking care of her yard and flowers. Most of all she was very devoted to her family and loved spoiling her grandchildren.
